Tourism has taken on
A mean streak lately
When a sign tells you on arrival
'Welcome back to the real world
We mean you well
But we only accept cash'.
Is one to carry a few hundred dollars
To satisfy others' refusal of modern world facilities
Located a county away.
Shopping is such a positive experience
Or so one thinks until one is faced
By a sign found at the entrance
Of a famous shopping precinct
That reads like a list of no do
Just to enter the arcade.
One then does not wonders
If one does not wishes to spend
One's money there.
It is not to be welcomed.
