Kintsukuroi

You have been here long enough
To appreciate its intrinsic beauty
And be thankful for Kintsukuroi.

The tearing pain of the bruised heart
Broken into irregular pieces
To be thrown away at the first opportunity.

Comes Kintsukuroi
With love, dedication and persistence
Reassembling all the elements
To tenderly fuse them back in one vessel
More beautiful if more fragile
Than the original one.

Kintsukuroi
Brings you the understanding
That for having been broken
Your heart is made more precious
All by the power of a single word
Kintsukuroi.
