Full moon

Tonight the night has a guest,
So the place has been spruced up
Every star is in place and scintillating
In the background softly playing
The symphony of the spheres
Lifts the dark ardent mood
The night in his black tuxedo is pacing
When suddenly the crispness of the air
Warns him of her arrival on the scene
Blushing divesting herself
Of her enveloping crimson cape
She appears silvery white and frosty
Rising slowly to meet him
He embraces her
Leading her in the full moon waltz
That will take her across the sky
To leave her alone, pale and exhausted
In the morning of a new day.
